HOW TO BOOK:

Go to www.alaskaair.com and book online. Select 0 adults / 1 child (2,3 children) in the search. The system will automatically check if the flights you selected are eligible for your child's age group (basicaly you can not book a flight you child does not qualify for). You will be offered to select the drop off and pick up guardians on the website as well as an option to print out and fill out the guardianship form that you will bring to the airport (this can be easily done at check in as well). Call Alaska if further assistance is needed 800-252-7522.

Always check if your Alaska flight is operated by Alaska (if it is Operated by American you can not book it on Alaska's website).

WHAT WILL YOU NEED?

Before you call have the following information at hand:

1. Full name of the minor(s) travelling

2. DOB and gender of the minor

3. Flight details you want to book 

4. Name and two phone numbers of the person dropping the minor off (2nd number is optional)

5. Name and two phone numbers of the person picking the minor up. (If flying as a young adult only the name and 1 phone number of 1 contact person is needed)

6. The credit card and billing address.

    

UM FEE: 

$25 direct flights / $50 connecting flights (each way, per minor)

Payable at check-in only.

GUARDIANS

Only guardians specified in your booking will be allowed to drop off / pick up the minor upon showing their ID. You may request to change these persons by calling Delta with your confirmation number at least 24 hours prior to departure.

CHANGE / CANCEL

You have 24 hours from the moment of booking to cancel your reservation for the full refund (it takes a few days to get the actual funds back to your account though). After that the ticket becomes nonrefundable. Change fees apply. More info
